Dan is a self-taught artist from Appleton, WI. His work blends detailed observation and refined technique.
He draws inspiration from a wide range of subject matter, including nature and landscapes, architecture, and, most recently, animal and human portraiture. A life-long learner, he enjoys experimenting with new styles and mediums, though he is most drawn to graphite and charcoal for the sense of peace they offer during the creative process.
Now based in Madison, WI, Dan strives to create art that brings joy, curiosity, and creates a meaningful connection between viewer and subject.
